Tried disabling the Facebook (and bbm) contacts from my contact list but once you turn it off and turn it back on, the option turns back on by itself again.

Am I missing something? How do I permanently turn off the contact list? Having over 2000 contacts how on contact list each time can get pretty frustrating.

That is strange, whenn I disable my facebook contacts in the contacts app it stays off. Your talking about going to Contacts -> Settings -> Show Contacts list and turning facebook off right? You can also click. It's a pain but you can also select everytime what contacts list to show by clicking the contacts button on bottom right and clicking the list you want. It's strange that yours comes back on, mine stays off even after reboot.

Hmm I think I'm one of the few who are experiencing this problem.

I have tons of problems with my contact app. (I. It doesn't change into dark theme either). Resetting the phone or battery pull doesn't fix this problem for me.

+1 - same problem. No one seems to have a fix for either problem.....I think safe to assume this is a confirmed bug in the os.

I sort of figured out the problem. I security wiped the phone and instead of restoring the data from BlackBerry Link, I directly input all the contacts. I don't seem to have any problems at the moment.

Haven't tried fb contacts yet tho, kind of scared to go through all my 1400 contacts again and break my contact app.

I have a z30, and I had to uninstall facebook. Go back to add account and slide all the buttons to off (they included events, contacts, and birthdays). Then they were finally gone.
