    I made a new profile today on facebook and I can't figure out how to not have the notifications appearing in the hub and getting the 'star' across the icon. I went under settings and they now seem to be different choices which are: 1) Show in hub, 2) Show in app only and 3) Show in both. I've picked # 2 and they are still showing in the hub and I have to delete each one in which I think is a PIA. I had no issues with my previous facebook profile. Am I missing a setting or an important step?

    I think the star means you've subscribed to this profile with mobile notifications. Turn them off from the fb site.

    Checked that and it is still giving me notifications in the hub. I've done a restart and went under notifications under my settings and the hub is unchecked as is everything else. Wonder if uninstalling it would work?

    I fixed it myself. Uninstalling the FB app did the trick.

    Yes, I had tried that also.
