With the recent updates to Skype, you cannot set the app to not run in the background, and when you hit "log out", it now signs you out and you must re-enter your info.

Previously, I could leave the app minimized, or use "log out" to exit the app as I wanted.

Is there any way outside waiting for a Hub notification to stop the app?

Settings, security, application permission in the pull down menu select running in background and select Skype and self it to not run in background

Specifically for "run in background", Skype doesn't show up. On Skype itself, I have "run when minimized" set to off, but the app continues to run.

Check through all of the pull downs and make sure you sign out of Skype when not in use of after a reboot

Skype is an android app, the BBWorld's Skype is an android port also. You need to remove the 'run at startup' app permission from it.

You need to download one of these apps: Lucky Patcher or APK permission remover. APK permission remover can be grabbed from Snap or by using colbalts work around.

Skype left an notification in the HUB. Upon deleting, HUB will ask if you wanted to close the app.

Download ghost commander from BlackBerry World. That's what I use to close Skype.
