A friend had an Android app that used the led light to detect pulse rate. I just tried two in appworld and either I'm dead (possibly), doing something wrong or they don't work (actually, they seemed like almost identical apps).

I'm still recovering from my Dead and now resurrected Z10. And my "overnight" replacement is mired in a snow or ice storm somewhere between Indianapolis and Dallas, Texas according to tracking info.

Probably an android port. Do they have access to the actual camera - the led does turn on quite brightly.
