The developer of ClipMan and BaSA has stated that he is working on headless support for ClipMan and it will probably come in a few months. Early 2014 for BaSA I think.

Hey, I've just found your posting.

I just want to confirm, headless support for ClipMan is in preparation!

I'm the developer and have just released my first small headless app sucessfully between the years and now after the learning and testing part is done the headless module for ClipMan is in preparation. The fundamental mechanismen is already working over here headless, but I have some issues to inform the UI part that there was a new item stored in the list. This needs to get done before I publish a update.
The possibility to invoke ClipMan from other apps makes this even more complicated since it is possible that more than a single instance of ClipMan is running. And I need to handle this somehow.

Regarding BaSA I have currently no exact timeframe. But it will get a headless part for sure! 2014! Gapless monitoring of the used data traffic sounds way too tempting to me, I want to use this myself.
