I don't think so because Skype will be coming in 10.2 update as native. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You know I have very little faith in BB10 seeing very many native apps. On the one hand, that's fine. At least it's something. On the other, it's just sickening. "Yes an app is coming...here, take this port." Like really?

But whatever. I'm keeping what little hope I have alive.

Looks like the bailed as well. I have one person who is still the reason I need this app and I just convinced them to use BBM. As soon as they do, i'll delete my sideload.

In a pinch I may use the text command but that should be a rare occasion

There's a third party client, Grouper, in the works right now. It'll be headless, although true push notifications are unlikely to be supported.
