    For some reason the app doesn't pass the splash screen.

    Is anybody experiencing the same?

    Please, don't reply with the classic "It works for me".

    The notification icon for Gtalk doesn't appear on the lock screen for me either.

    Annoying but fixable with updates whenever they come.

    This is a great app WHEN IT DECIDES YO WORK.

    I too encountered the above mention problems, and the only workaround is to delete the app and reinstall.

    It's full of bugs - hopefully it will get fixed soon with an update.
