    Just an idea but wouldn't it be great to have a "free app of the day" app?

    Bringing popular apps and newer ones to more users by providing them for free seems like a great idea.

    I know ios and android have these types of apps that are great for app distribution.

    Ideas/Thoughts/Comments?

    doesn't quite fit what the OP was after, better than nothing tho I guess, although you aren't allowed to make paid apps free and vice versa in BB World, so it would really only show discounted apps for the majority and not free.

    Really? Skooday started out as a paid app and is now free. On the other hand, FaceFlow started out free but costs $2.99 now... So what do you mean?

    I think the official line from BlackBerry is: if you change apps between free and paid, you're gonna have a bad time. "Free App of the day" app?-4f8c4bf718613332e000680b.jpg

    Seriously though, they said it has something to do with confusing and upsetting people who paid for the app, or who got it for free but will now be charged when an update becomes available. Sounds more like a flaw in their system rather than a thought-out policy.

    On Android, apps can only change from paid to free, not from free to paid. Btw, those free apps of the day on Android are a bit fake.
