I am a big fan of foursquare when I'm still on android because I like to explore new places especially restaurants, but wtf is wrong with blackberry maps? It can't find any places on my foursquare? It is always 'no results found' is ti the BlackBerry maps is the problem or it is just the foursquare who are not giving the right coordinates?

Delete and reinstall the app. My version finds points of interest on the maps.

I'd recommend installing Google Maps port and setting it as a default app to open maps, the BlackBerry Maps are still worthless, it may be better in other countries, but I wasn't able to find ATMs and other local POIs plus it doesn't always find an exact address :/

Does four square drain the battery? I noticed that the gps icon stays on in my status bar even when the app is closed.

Not sure about battery drain, but I'm having an issue with foursquare posting to facebook. Even though I have them linked and the share option turned on I can't seem to get foursquare to post to facebook.

Has anyone found a solution for this. I am getting the same issue when I click GO on any location.

I am running the latest version with the latest software on my Z30. I am in the UK.

I actually have had the opposite experience. I love BB maps for navigating to appointments and with Foursquare as a POI search engine, it integrates very well. I have yet to get that message when I try and navigate to a POI that Foursquare found.

I live in US, maybe it's different by region.

People I know in the US say it works fine, but here in the UK it doesn't work for anyone I know. Might well be regional. For me it's useless.

I have received updates for Foursquare. They have told me to delete Foursqure and restart, delete Blackberry Maps and restart. But none of this has made any difference.

I know Foursquare was working ok, but since updating Foursquare and also BB to 10.2.1.2102, it no longer works.

    Regards

I have had another response from Foursquare. They asked for the following details.

    Foursquare – 10.4.0.1694
    Blackberry Maps – 10.2.1.778
    Blackberry OS – 10.2.1.2102
    Model – Blackberry Z30
    Model Number – STA 100-2

They then came back with the following.

    Hello Trevor,
Thanks for the information. This seems to be an issue with Blackberry Maps and currently there isn't anything we can do at our end. I'm sorry! You can contact Blackberry support to see if the issue can be fixed through them or download Google Maps and set it as your default map client. Again, I'm sorry that I'm unable to help any further. Thank you for your Foursquare passion!

    Regards

    Trevor
