Asked the developer if they can add Password Keeper to list of items you are able to backup. Security would not be an issue as you can backup to SD card.

Obviously BlackBerry is not going to make changes to BlackBerry Protect.

    Will post reply if/when received.

It exports, yes. But it would be nice to be able to backup everything with one app. See next post.

I believe the new version of Password Keeper now has an export/import feature so you can export y?our password to the Documents folder (for example) and then backup with Backup Lite/Pro.

Either way, BlackBerry has refused to allow apps to communicate with Password Keeper or its assets.

It would also be nice to be able to backup WLAN profiles like Protect did in the old timey days, and it would also be super handy if it backed up VPN settings. Whenever I decide to do a scratch install, these things are a bit of a hassle to lose. Link is way too all or nothing.

When will firechest pro back up other things like SMS? Ideally should be able to open the SMS backup file in. Csv format or something similar

My understanding is that there is no API to allow Password Keeper to get integrated into Fire Chest. BlackBerry keeps a tight grip on that program for obvious reasons
