The developer of SuperTube had such an app that had ti be sideloaded. Native and worked well! Haven't used it in a long time though

That is why I didn't explicitly mention cutetube because it could get those app into trouble with Google.

Its legal as long as you keep listening only to yourself. If you upload it anywhere else or spread it around you can get into trouble. Iam always using this one https://www.youtube-converter.de . You just have to paste the link of the Video you are looking for and download it afterwards.

Supertube is the best, spoke to him on Facebook recently and he will be fixing the sporadic crashing upon opening soon as it's sporadic and only some effected. He's awaiting for it to effect him. It's great! However, want a stable and one with downloads? Get New Pipe, it's amazing. Even has picture in picture on BB10 like nougat. It has everything. Even intertwined with kodi if You want and still in its infancy!

You won't regret this freebie youtube client with no api's.

As for "illegal" or legal, we don't mention that on crackberry. We only use the word "Enjoy" I thought...
