Neither are available but at some point (who knows when) instagram should make its way. Facetime, however, is an Apple only feature so no, it will never be on board.

You are correct. As facetime only works with Apple devices. There is FaceFlow already available and Skype is just about ready for official release. You can download the leaked version if you want it right away.

Then forget BBM video and Facetime since they are limited to Blackberries and Apple products respectively. Go with Skype which works with almost all devices (including the Q10 and soon the Z10).

You want to use Skype of oovoo... i side loaded both and neither function correctly... you will need to wait for a native app... as we all have, I'm confident that Skype will be available on the Z10 being its on the Q10

There is the link for Faceflow however be aware that it has not been made available of iphone or android yet but is coming from what I understand. Right now your best bet is to use Skype which is currently available for the Q10 and coming shortly for z10.

Edit: or BBM video which in my experience trumps them all.

BBM video. BlackBerry 10 has a pretty cool photo editor application built right into the OS. They could basically have it talk to instagram accounts via the Hub for the sharing and social component, but the actual photo editing part is already part of the BlackBerry 10 out of the box experience.

A cross platform video chat option, in the future, could be a BBM download in the google app store, windows app store, apple app store for say, $9.99 or more, because it's that good. In fact every mobile instant messenger is trying to be BBM.

Ok, seriously people. I know Facetime is the name of the feature on iPhones, but we all know what he meant. He's asking if there will be video chatting, similar to facetime, Skype, bbm video, etc. on the Q10... And I guess the answer, after scrolling past like a dozen "Facetime is only on iphone" posts, is that the Q10 will have Skype and BBM video for that. So yes, it'll have "facetime." Geez people...

Well there is BBM video and voice between blackberries (much like face time is just between iOS). Soon though there will also be bbm on iOS and android and they said a bit later they will also release bbm video and voice to those as well. We will see how it goes

Don't forget about FaceFlow guys. I know that Skype is pretty much available by now but FaceFlow allows people to call you even if they don't have an account. All they need is a browser that supports flash and a front facing camera (meaning that even Android devices can call you from the browser if they still have flash).

Yup I still use faceflow as a form of support, and respect for them coming to us first
