It seems that with BB10 Notifications are much less customizable than they were with BBOS. I do not want any notification other than an entry in the hub for Facebook Notifications but I do want a sound and led notification for Facebook messages. However it seems to be all or nothing. Any way around this? I tried BeBuzz and the results were the same, wasted 3 dollars.

Well I'm not sure what device you're using, but on my Z10 I have All Notifications off and I still get a HUB entry. Is that what you're looking for? If so just go into the Notification menu, navigate to Applications, find Facebook and turn them off.
I'm using a Z10 as well, but they should all be the same right? I do get notifications in the hub with them set to all off but that's not what I want.
On BBOS you would have been able to set your notifications so that a message on Facebook would act one way and a notification (such as a wall post) would behave another way.
I want sound, vibration and LED when I get a message, but just a hub entry for wall posts etc. (all notifications off).
Maybe that clears it up a bit.

Ah, I see now. I don't think that's possible. At least I have no idea how to accomplish it. Sorry.
It's not possible. I'm very disappointed with B10 notifications
