Does anybody have any links to independent testing of Backup Pro? Specifically regarding the apps compliance with their privacy statement indicating that no information is transmitted back to Firechest either directly or indirectly?

And another question: will Firechest copy a very long sms conversation (2 yrs and several thousand messages) and include the pictures sent back and forth?

Thanks a lot. I tried again and download it. But it didn't help - most of the contacts are 0 KB (empty) . So it seems I have lost all my contacts.

Are they gone from your device, too? Any copy on the device or only in the cloud or??

Do you sync with Google or Outlook or Yahoo?

I don't use Google or Outlook to sync contacts . I hoped that Backup Pro would be enough. I made backups to Dropbox. But I easily downloaded the encrypted file to PC. What is interesting - I made 3 backups in different times and in all of them contacts are invalid

I use the app but do NOT encrypt the data. I've used its restore a number of times and I've even gone into the archives and tweaked stuff. But as it was not encrypted, I could read the data.

Have you contacted the developer? They use to be very prominent in the forums but I've not seen anyone recently.
