It depends on what you have your account's 'Sync Interval' set to in the account settings.. I have mine set to sync every 24 hours. The least amount of time you can have it sync is every 5 minutes.

If the synctime alone doesn't do the trick, you'll want to ensure your Gmail is set up via IMAP. See yesterday's "How To": How to set up Gmail on your BlackBerry 10 device using IMAP, CalDav and CardDav | CrackBerry.com. If the calendar doesn't set up properly, use this for the server address: https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/<emailaddress>/events.

By default, messages deleted on device are archived in Gmail. You can tweak the settings within Gmail (web) to ensure messages deleted on device go to "Trash" in Gmail, see the instructions in post #4 here:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...8/#post8638154

    * When setting up the account, you have the option to set the sync time frame (how far back email will be retained). You also set up the sync interval -- the time it takes to sync changes (read/unread status, delete, etc.) between the device and Gmail server. So, if you set the sync interval for 15 minutes, it will take that amount of time from when you delete on device to when the item is deleted to Trash in Gmail.

If your Gmail is already set up as IMAP, you should just need to make the "delete" changes. The rest of this is just in case. Give it a shot and let us know how it works out.

Great. Glad it worked for you.
(Some people have had trouble following the setup instructions...)
    Cheers.
