    Hi

Just copied a load of my music to my SD card and opened the BlackBerry music app to play it. It's a complete mess because I don't use tags, nor have I any interest in using tags.

I use Rockbox on my iPod Classic and basically use the file system to organise my music.

Are there any decent music apps for BB10 that aren't crippled by forcing you to use tags?

Personally I listen almost exclusively to streamed music, so the stock music app is more then enough for the few times I download something. But I keep hearing good things about this app for those looking for a little extra..

Music isn't free. That's called piracy and we don't support piracy at crackberry.com

Tubidy has a mobile site that allows you to stream content.. that's not the same as downloading.

Thanks, download skoodays. Tubid.com is not only streaming, with the older BlackBerry 's a person can download any song!

Skoodays only seems to be a streaming thing but Neutron looks good. Any users know if it works without tags?

For the person who asks why I don't use tags? Because my Q10 isn't my primary or even secondary music player and I don't want to mess with everything else I use by adding tags to 40,000+ tracks just so I can play them on my phone. Nothing else I use needs them and I don't see their value.

I just want to use my phone to play music if I happen to be somewhere I don't have my iPod, without having everything lumped under 'Unknown'.

So - Neutron users, I saw a 'folders' option in one of the screenshot, I hope I can use this to just browse the filesystem and play?

BlackBerry World - Folder Music <-- Folder Music is pretty sweet for what you're looking to accomplish.

Thank you! This app does what I want :-)

Wonder if there is a way to make it the default player for when you find stuff in the search function?

Yea, just add the directory where all of your music is stored as a source in Neutron and you'll be able to access the songs through the 'folders' option.
