I'm code complete on a cool new feature for Noted which should be released this week or next.

The name of the feature is "Linked Notes"

Basically, you'll be able to create a shortcut to a plain text file and edit the file from within Noted. The shortcut is all that will be stored in Noted. The file can be local, or cloud-based.

I'll be adding screen shots soon. Just wanted to let people know. =D

It doesn't look like BlackBerry exposes any method for doing this, sorry about that.

I tried Noted today and WOW!!!
I really like it! Its easy to use and reminds me of the old Memopad which was ripped away from us in BB10!
I love the ability to password memos and color code (organize!).
Fantastic app. Well worth the $.

Definitely TXT and I have used ascii text editors to edit HTM and HTML files.

Ok, here's the lineup so far:
"*.bat", "*.cmd", "*.cs", "*.csv", "*.htm", "*.html", "*.js", "*.log", "*.tsv", "*.txt", "*.vb", "*.vbs", "*.xml"

Also, for simplicity's sake, right now I'm handling all files as UTF-8 for both reads and writes. I'm not an expert in this area though, so if this raises a red flag to anyone, please speak out. Thanks

Indeed! I happen to really like Noted.
The access is sweeter than pie, and I find that I actually use this app.
I can't say how many apps I paid for, and never really use.

Since I added 3 new features, and the version number was getting close to 3 anyway, I decided to rev to v3.0

v3.0 is submitted to BlackBerry World. I decided to lower the price to 99c until it gets approved, just to make things interesting, so if you want to grab it now, you can, then the v3 upgrade will be free =D

Just added a Copy to Clipboard feature to the context menu, with a cool twist. In the Secure category, the feature acts as a Password Keeper, it only copies the note body/password!
