Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could recommend an app that would let me block specific phone numbers?

I'm tired of getting telemarketers calling me telling me I've won a boat cruise or that they need to collect fake debts etc.

I remember their being a ton of options on Android, but this seems to not exist anything decent (at least as far as the app store is concerned) on BB10.

I believe the API's required for such an app are included with 10.3 so your options right now would be limited to the carrier blocking I think. With bell it is available on the website I believe.

No 10.3 yet, but isn't that supposed to be coming out soon?

Uhh hard to say. The passport is coming out in august/september with 10.3 but existing devices wont be supported until 10.3.1. I think 10.3.1 is going to launch in November with the classic.

Its all speculation right now so I coukd be wrong.

I presume it's "possible" to update to 10.3 on a Q5?
I'm just hesitant of updating to a beta OS...

10.3 can't come soon enough then! I'm tired of these BS calls!

I'm hopeful also that these apps will block before going to voicemail, although hopefully I won't be needing VM by then...
