Open the browser, start typing, it makes suggestions for things you've searched for previously, even if you clear your browser cache.

How do you clear wherever it is reading these from?

Wipe your device lol. It pulls from all portions of the OS including email. You can however clear out the learned words from predictive text, that will clear out the majority of it. It will retain very little after that.

It doesn't. I'm not talking about the word suggestion, I'm talking about the browser search suggestion that only shows previous browser searches.

I know what you're talking about. That's the only way I've ever had success with removing it. Removing the learned words, clearing the browser cache and disabling the additional contact details setting in the address book. Once all that was wiped / disabled it stopped showing me previous browser suggestions. Only other suggestion would be to disable search suggestions entirely from the browser settings and see if it retains them after that. *shrug*

Thanks for the reply. I've done all that, and my previous searches are still all appearing. For most I don't care, but some are medical and not what I want visible to anyone using my phone - relate to a condition that someone close to me has. It's very odd - it seems to be a separate cache to the word suggestion (which I love)

    Brian, have you tried this.
    Open the browser,
Click the little box on the bottom left.
Click history and clear all the dates.

Hi - I have. Clearing browser history is easy. But it still makes suggestions for search terms I have used in the past

Download OPERA browser. Place it on the first page of your BB.
Hide your actual web browser in a bunch of apps.

You do your medical search on your 'hide browser". Don't use Opera, It's just for people who want to use your smartphone.

Use the Frost Browser or any other browser that can be set to not save anything while browsing
