(sorry - can't change the title - "solved" is a bit overturned...)

Bria - VoIP Softphone SIP Client for BlackBerry disappeared from Blackberry World!

But after i installd one of my older backup's to my second BB Q10 - which includes BRIA for Blackberry - i connect to BBW and: "there was an update" !!!!!!!!

Remarcable - because, when i go to "My World" with my actual Q10 - which run the OS 10.3.3 xxx,
There is NO Bria for Blackberry anymore!

(at a time, i changed device time/date - but don't remember, when i changed back and forward....)

So: maybe, i can help some of you with the backup,
i made from my Bria for Blackberry.

First time, i tried this by my self, i failed!
It says: missing bla bla.
So, this time, i made a backup WITH binary data.

Tomorrow, i try to install it on my Q10 - OS 10.3.3.xxx
again.
If everything is fine, i change resp. delete my personal settings from BRIA and test it again - delete the (hopefully) running backup and load the "cleaned" version.

If all this is running perfect, you can have it :-)
- for those, ho loves the BlackBerry version of BRIA :-)

At least I love it - and like to have it back again!

Looking at the listing Bla1ze posted... OP, you got it installed, does it work? The reviews for Bria Stretto for BlackBerry don't seem to be too encouraging.

Strettto for BlackBerry is NOT the same as the payed version!

Yesterday, i installed it on 10.3.3.xxxx
Running perfect.
Now i have to change PIN, ID and e-mail and delete my SIP Account from BRIA.
After that, i try to install this "cleaned" BRIA to my second Q10 - which i am going To wipe, before i try to install the "cleaned" BRIA.

tried a lot - the end of it:
when i changed the file - can't installl it again...

I guess, that i had to give away my bbb-file
- togehter with my BB ID :-) - than someone could install and change his ID after that.
But, i won't give my BB ID...
So, i guess... it's impossible - at least for me....

Frustrating.... that's why many of us moved on.

Yeah! - only RIM can handle the bbb files!
I wish, i could "free" those damn paid apps!
If you change bbb to ZIP, you can extract the file - but, when you put them together again - with or without changed data -
and rename to bbb, the bits are less than before...

No way, to decript those files...

And: of course, there is no way, to change the BB ID on a running device :-)

I could load older backup's under previous OS like 10.2.xxxx on one of my Q 10, which are NOT runing on 10.3.xxxx.....

Anyway: can i make and load backup's with Desktopmanager form my 10.2.xxxx devices?

(maybe this could be a way to..... (lurk:-) ........

No there is no way to access the file... you either restore it on a phone or it's just taking up space. And yes many have had issues with trying to reload a backup file with LINK.... that it's from a different version, only make the odds of success even less. (once the phone has been on 10.3, it won't allow you to go back to 10.2)

Try a Device Switch, or a Limited Restore.

I know, that there is no way back after 10.3
Therefore, i have one Q10 which i NEVER update :-)
When I load one of ma backup,s which i made under 10.2 - can I make backup,s with Desktop Manager?
Or is that only possibel under OS 7 and erlier?
