Whenever I save a file int my box / dropbox folder, it is shown as my phone memory is getting used up. Is this really happening. Isn't it supposed to save those files online.?
Earlier I had 9.4 GB free in my device. But after I had sync a video , it's showing only 9.2 GB free!

Dropbox and Box still cache files to your device/media card to offer up faster access. Just like on your computer if you use Dropbox. If I dump 30GB of stuff into my Dropbox account on my computer and am syncing Dropbox, it's still going to take up the 30GB on my computers hard drive. Dropbox/Box will only NOT use local storage if you disable syncing. eg: If you login, upload a file and log out, it won't use storage on your device.
