There is a native Bloomberg app and I know they are making a new version specially to take advantage of the QWERTY devices.

Dunno what the native and android port have different.

The native Bloomberg app is for OS7, there's not a native app for OS10. The one in Blackberry World is ported from Android. Has way less features than the OS7 and iPhone apps.

I'm willing to guess there is no native app for the Q10... And maybe I just said they are building an app to take advantage of the physical keybaord...

The orange app in your pic is the consumer, free version.

I'm talking about the Bloomberg Professional version, the icon is black. It is free to download but can only be used if you have a subscriber login. Link Bloomberg Professional - BlackBerry World

I just figured out on my iPhone app I can get news notifications/alerts pushed into the notifications bar, which syncs to my watch.

Would love to have that on my q10 or classic.

Only the orange one, hence I am not sure what's missing from the Pro version.

I used it for the live currency info, was the most precise on the market, and it did function until last week for me, but this week it's just dead, I know that Bloomberg has discontinued support for the app somewhere in December read their announcement, but it still worked, anyway it's a shame such a good app it was.

Unless the squeaky wheel is a symptom of a bent axle, and then the whole assembly has to be torn down and replaced.

Updated quick stock is very good. Easy to use and clean UI. Meanwhile, the old Bloomberg still works on news and other info, if you ignore the warning of bb version no longer working notice. The combination of the two basically covers my needs, with added bonus of quick stock allow me to set price warning (target).

Well, should keep my mouth shut. Bloomberg is no longer update it's market and news now. Too bad.
