    Anyone have any inside news as to whether or not BlackBerry is going to release a version of BlackBerry Protect that functions like on OS 6, 7 etc..

    Protect is baked into the new BB10 OS.

    As of now, you can use all feature BUT the backup/restore options. BB10's Protect may get updated in the future to allow for access to such feature.
