How does one make a BlackBerry pic viewable to Android apps. It's very random what pictures Android apps "see".

For instance when I just take some pics and want to make a collage using an Android app, it doesn't display then in the Gallery.

I used to just move the pics to an Android folder but that's not working anymore.

Did you try to add the pictures using the native File Manager instead of the Android Gallery? I mean when you hit "open image" button, it is supposed to ask you which app you want to use to browse images, I always choose the native File Manager and it works fine.

Move them to Device and save to Device. Use Ghost Commander to + Select all.

Ever since the 10.2.1 update I have a similar issue with the PicFrame, they used to all show up on the "gallery", but now they don't. If I use the file manager it gives an error saying the file type is not supported.

Yeah I've noticed this issue when using Kik. And when trying to upload a picture from my memory card to the Android Instagram app, it always says download failed but works fine with pictures on the device memory. But like it was mentioned above, the only fix I know of is adding/copying the picture file to the device memory.

Not all apps give you the option of choosing what opens up. Even if it gives you the option and I pick the BB file manager, the pics don't show up for some reason.

To where? Everywhere I've tried doesn't work. The pics stay "hidden".

    Device/camera (/accounts/1000/shared/camera) or Device/photos (/accounts/1000/shared/photos).

It's an issue with the android runtime.. its happened on leaks in the past. I reported the issue to BlackBerry

to make sure, the issue is that Android can access but can't read from certain folders on the sd card, right?

Yes that might be why it doesn't see some pictures even though it sees the folder and some pictures in that folder
