    I have issues with routes in the Maps app.
    In foursquare I select the place I want to go to and Maps opens.

    The route is always wrong.

    Is it an OS bug or within the apps?

    Check your routing settings. Remember that each switch on means it will avoid the item. I had highways selected thinking it would allow driving on them... I was a bit upset before I realized my mistake.
