So I said this early on when BlackBerry express first came out but haven't heard about anything.

I believe that BlackBerry should create a website for BlackBerry express where you can work on and present presentations. I've had to do countless presentations for school and always wished that I could use my berry. I think a website would be easier to actually present the presentation than connecting a micro hdmi and then presenting it. What do you think?

Would that be the equivalent of Google Docs or the 'coming' Microsoft Office 'Online'?

If not, what would be the difference?

Yeah. Pretty much the same thing. It would just allow you to work on your BlackBerry documents online. It could save it to the cloud and then sync with your BlackBerry.

This would be a big project for BlackBerry to take on at this stage.

Just like that.. they ain't going to knock it up in Frontpage these things cost hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of man hours and then they would need to invest in the infrastructure to back it all up.

Taking on Google and Microsoft in another new battle when they have a massive head start.

I think you think i'm talking more than just express.

I just want an express website so that I can present my presentations. You're not always using a tv so you can't always use the hdmi out.

Why wouldn't you just use PowerPoint? Then docs to go. Express is just that, express for creating on BlackBerry on the fly.

I just think it's easier to use Express on your phone. So I think they should create a website so that you can export it and view it there. No editing feature needed I just want it to be easier to present.

View it where. You have hdmi for a reason. You are not going to get a website for a beta app.

No. You are not crazy. I don't see what BlackBerry has to lose if they explored your suggestion.

That's what i'm saying! Just a simple website where you can export your presentation so that you can view it from a computer.

That's my point, if you are going to use a computer then why not use PowerPoint as express is very basic

Because its harder to edit and create powerpoints on a BlackBerry. Express is easier to use on the go. All i'm asking for is a website to view the presentations you created. That's it. Editing isn't necessary although it would be nice

So for me, it would be nice to create presentations on my berry since i'm in college. But if I was to even use express, I wouldn't be able to actually present my presentation because we use projectors and not tv's.

You can't create or edit ppt on BlackBerry can you? This is the reason HDMI included. Create using express and hdmi out or create on computer using PowerPoint and send to BlackBerry so you can use docs to go and hdmi.

We can selectively hide text in word documents under the settings tab.. in ms word

And we can view them by ticking on the settings tab.. in ms word

In BlackBerry docs to go, I cant see the hidden text and cant find an option to select viewing it also
