Why is the source label, when you tweet, say Twitter for Android, not Bird 10 for BlackBerry or something similar? I don’t know how others here feel, but I think it would be better if the posts made with Bird 10 would be differentiated by the source label. Personally I’d love to see that.

I assume it's because the Twitter public API is being used.

You can Use the Legacy Tweeting Method there is an option for that in Bird10 app setting ...after enabling that on your tweets will appear posted with Bird10 for BlackBerry

That's what happens if you copy the text of the truncated url. Just click on the link, or right click and copy link address if you need to copy.

After upgrade to 2.12.0.0 , I can not login.
The error message from app : Account linking experienced an error. Please check your credentials and that you have an active internet connection.
But I can login using bb10 native app bird10 version 1.3.0.1 before upgraded to 2.12.0.0 .
Then I delete the new one and reinstall old version 1.3.0.1 , but it still not to login , too. when I input my username and pwd, then press login button , then a white blank screen is showed.
I don't know how ti fix it.

In the latest updates I've tried to "future-proof" the app as much as possible. It will stay like this until Twitter changes something big on their servers, at which point I won't be able to release a new version as BB will also shutdown the signing servers.
I'm working on porting the app to sailfishos, however their sdk is (in my opinion) not as powerful as Native and some things like emojis are totally missing..

I myself just purchased a new Xperia 10 ii for the specific task of flashing Sailfish OS to it. My general laziness has just prohibited me from carrying out this task. Great to know that the app might at some point be working on that OS!

Be prepared because the scrolling performance will suck. List items aren't cached so the ui keeps creating and destroying the visual items for the tweets. BlackBerry had fixed this issue in 2013 by customizing the ListView code, sailfish is much more Qt-based and I guess they just don't have the size to put so much effort in a niche task

Meh, at that point we could use just any other third-party android app like Twidere, the performance benefits of a native app would be gone in any case
