Actually this is pretty rare. I suspect their source is down somehow. Hope this doesn't go EOL.

Yes, confirmed failed in the UK this afternoon but back up now.

I actually thought it was "the end" so I put it on a folder and dug the BB Weather App out for the home screen.

Thanks everyone for this post, I would have probably never have tried it again if I hadn't seen this thread!

It is (barely) working here in Halifax. It hasn't remembered that Halifax is in Nova Scotia yet, it still believes we are in Ontario. That alone makes it useless in my books. It also isn't capable of locating other location in Nova Scotia.

Ok this also happened with NOAA I am using. Contacted the App writer and many back and forth s with screen shots. The issue was the NOAA feed that my app picks up. Seems they changed how the app connects and what version. The writer had to come up with a work around than it worked.

Contact them, send Screen shots. Hope they take the time like my App writer did.

I had no issue with it locating Dartmouth, but I don't live in a suburb of Halifax.

You are absolutely correct!! It gives the suburbs but not the core of Halifax anymore. Something has changed as we used to get at least Halifax YHZ or Halifax Shearwater airports. Now to get YHZ you need to search for Enfield then go to nearby locations to select.
There are a lot locations right in Halifax but they are searchable. Just Armdale and a couple of Dartmouth.
I wonder if it is related to HRM being officially branded as "Halifax"?

Your guess is as good as mine. It's frustrating having the capital city removed from the equation.

FYI, here in Halifax we really don't receive a lot of snow (or if Mother Nature craps on us, it turns to rain and washes away) during a normal winter season.

The absolute BEST app to use to find out what the weather is, is to tie a length of rope to a tree branch or your eaves.

If it has water dripping of it, it is raining.

If it is moving, it is windy.

If it is white with icicles, it has snowed warmed up a bit and it is below freezing.

If it is dry and gently moving, it is a nice day with a bit of a breeze.

Just keep looking out your window until you can see what is happening.

How does the most accurate method of seeing what the weather is doing have anything to do with Blackberry?

You ma'am need a better way to pass your free time.

Well looking out the window is what's left b/c the developer seems to totally ignore all reports that maps/radar is/are nonfunctional and has been so for weeks.

I just look out the window and guess the percentage of rain then tell the wife that my BlackBerry said so.
