    Nope, it's Native Cascades.
next question is headless apps easier to make for 10.3 then 10.2.1 and what about HUB integration?

I'm not a dev so I don't know this stuff, but I'm curious and you made this app so fast with headless support.

Based on what I know from reading and understanding the process, API shouldn't have changed between 10.3 and 10.2.1 for OS
However, 10.3 introduced the API which allows the detection of incoming calls.
So whatever OP had for 10.2.1 could just be copied over for the 10.3 stuff

However at least one developer (of headless apps) that I know of believes that headless operation should work more reliably on 10.3.

Which is good, because my general impression is that headless so far has been dicey.

Thanks for making this available! It has been something we have all been needing since BB10 came out.
I will start testing on my Q10.

Headless app is same for 10.2 and 10.3, the SDK has the template for you, i made Call Block within a day. Of course i have pretty much experience in developing BB10 so it's not fair to say it's easy or not to new comers.

I haven't touched Hub Integration but notification. This means when app notify via notification, it's logged into hub a message, all users can do is read the message and/or open the app through that message. For the HUB Integration such as Foursquare, Whatsapp... Dev need to request for the permission, depends on the app you are working on, it's approved or denied.

    Hope that helps.

Please help detailing what happened when you installed and ran the app, did you accept all permissions it required? Does the number you wanna block correct? And does the app run?

    Thank you.

Did you grant all required permission at the first time you ran the app?

    Thank you.

It installed just fine and there is no much of the configuration anyway. So added a phone number I wanted to block (my work phone) called while having app closed and open and it keeps ringing. If I remember it was supposed to answer and then hang up. Yes I did accept all the permissions. So tried typing just 10 digit number, with 1 in front and without, with dashes and without, copying and pasting a number from call log but no luck. Hope this is descriptive enough.

I am having similar problems, installs fine but doesn't block calls. It also doesn't allow me to add a number I have already deleted(works after restarting app)

I believe most people(including me) don't have it working because of the hybrid version 10.3.0.296/441. And seems to be a permission bug, there's a weird permission that doesn't read properly:

Here's a screen of the bug mentioned earlier.

I do believe the implementation of headless is far better in 10.3 from what I understand about what was changed and personal experience
However, some badly coded headless apps can cause significant battery drain

That could be because of the hybrid version of the OS. All of my devices with me are working properly including Z10 verizon, Z10 3G, Dev B, Dev c, Q10, Q5, Z30, Z3.

Let's wait for a while since I don't know how to fix. For the deleted issue, that's fixed on my newer build.

    Thank you guys.

    Just a thought

Is it possible to create a call log inside the app ( separate from the device's call log ), then create a function to insert the block list based on the call log

Simply to make it easier for the users to input the block list, and so the number formatting matches the one that the apps can read

Especially since, as I recall, 10.3 was the first API level where apps could gain access to the call log.

Ok, so after few dozens of trials found out why wasn't working. The phone number you are entering must be typed in the same manner as seen in the call log. In my case the key issue were the spaces (!) between the numbers i.e. 88 765 43 21. Exactly the way if it look in call log - then it works!

How hard is it to copy the code of CALLBLOCKER for OS7 and turn it into a BB10 app. Thats all we really need people.

There is more to it than just porting code. The OS has have the equivalent API's and core features access before you can make assumptions.
