I would like to know what's the best Youtube player app. A little tired of the browser as it doesn't offer a lot of the features I think it should.

I'd like to search for a video while I have a video playing.

I'd like to have a playlist of videos

The YouTube app from Snap won't work unless I update my Google settings that I sideloaded but I unno where or how to find an updated Google settings apk.

    Help please

I bought both SuperTube and FastTube but I prefer SuperTube. they both let you search while a video is playing and continue playing even if you minimise the app, but I'm not sure if you can make playlists for free in either app.

SuperTube all the way, I find it miles ahead compared to FastTube when looking at features. You can browse while playing videos in SuperTube, but since it's been a while since I used FastTube, I don't know for sure if you can do that too. Iirc you can. Accessing play list will cost you a little bit, as signing in requires an in-app purchase for both apps. Still prefer SuperTube all day

It's an in-app purchase to get the full version.

Last question, how do you extract the audio from the videos within the app.

I haven't tried Super tube but Fast tubes latest update was pretty sweet as you can now create as many folders/play lists as you want and you can "play all" in a folder.

You can also download /cache videos for repeated viewing without worrying about a data connection and having to use data over and over for your favorites. Excellent for travelling etc..

I find the app very snappy and slick. One of my favourite new apps.

@Ya Aplus, just seen this thread . Open the "Local videos" in the bottom right left menu, long tap over a video in the list and choose "Extract audio" in the context menu

FastTube is miles ahead of SuperTube. I appreciate the effort SuperTubes dev put in but its way too cluttered, generally an unappealing aesthetic. The app loading screen is comical. FastTube is alot cleaner and simpler. Looks much more professional. Plus FastTube's preloaded videos have file folder management and continuous playback.
