    Hello guys,

Could you please share how you deal with those two needs with your BBos10 devices.

I have à Passport, and I'm using the Android Twitter App and Supertube (and the browser since some features on Supertube such as New vids from subscribed channel does not work, and I have plenty of crashes with the Android Twitter app)

Anyone has à better solution ? I know this OS is dying and I'm looking for Light and Fast solutions here, Android or Bbos.

    Thanks

I tend to just go with the mobile websites for these.

For Youtube apps, I only have CacheTube and Youtube Mini. They're basically front end apps that use the Youtube website.

There may be lightweight Android apps but I haven't tried any on BB10 lately.

Actually I'm using an old version of Android Youtube Vanced and Android Twitter on my passport.

While I have minor issues (cannot login on Youtube) they run great. But m'y battery don't last more than a day.

.......and that's why people with BB10 devices are better off using the mobile websites for these power intensive social media apps. The fewer you have on your Passport the better off you will be.

Hi, I'm also using the BB Passport, and until recently I was fine with the native app provided by BlackBerry. However, since they detached it from use I have been trying the Twitter app for Android (different versions) and while I have success installing them I can't make any of the installable versions I came across work on my BB Passport. All installable versions say "error occurred, try again later". I tried also date & time fixes as suggested, re-installed the app, re-started the device and non of these worked! Since you are able to make your app work, can you advise what Twitter version for Android works for you, can you share a link for a direct download?
    Thank you.

For Twitter, try Bird10 from BB World. It's a native app under development to my understanding.

You could also sift through this thread to find what others are using.

    Hey Accanthus,

Not sure if you need a YouTube app, but if so I'd try the native FastTube from Blackberry World. Solid and smooth.
