Can someone recommend me a decent text editor?

My requirement: connection with Dropbox, preferrably syntax highlight

    My normal usage: Markdown document

My dream app: Vim for BB

    Hi!!! Welcome aboard!!!!

I checked for you and it seems that a suggestion would be Docs to Go. Would that work?

Noted is a text editor, combined with being an awesome memo pad and password keeper all in one:

It does not have syntax highlighting, but I'll see if it is possible with the Cascades rich text control. My biggest concern is performance with the control. I've written syntax highlighting code before in
.NET and the performance is bad because Microsoft's rich text control is so slow, hopefully Black berry's control is better.

Download Noted, a 5-star rated, native BB10 memo pad app.

Bedit looks good (very simple as well); Docs to go is already on my phone but it seems to be more of a .doc editing app rather than for plain text; Noted is feature-rich but doesn't seem to be filesystem based (it uses its own categories, etc).

So for the time being I'd probably go with Bedit. Thank you guys.

NOTED is both an "internal" Memopad as well as an editor that can edit and SAVE TEXT/TXT/Ascii files.
