As the title states, can someone tell me the best navigation app for a Z30?. Can be native or an android app. Just need to be able to use it without cellular data.

mireo. but its maps are fairly pricy and the interface is a bit different. there are also some programs based on open street maps that may be free or cheap

Give Navfree by Navmii a shot... it's free and based on OpenStreet maps. Runs fine on my Z30 10.2.1

Navfree has voice navigation if that's what you're asking.

I'll also say Navfree, but I haven't used many others. Make sure you have enough room on your device because it takes up more than 720 MB on mine for Canada.

It doesn't flow as smoothly as bbMaps, GoogleMaps, or Waze, but it works.

Okay, took NavFree for test run. I like it, works well. Seem to be some limitations on house numbers for some reason, and doesn't say the name of the street to turn on when it comes (that's what I meant) but it's free and works. Thanks guys.

Just out of curiosity, would you guys know how much data BlackBerry maps uses on average.

Very little. Of course it's dependent on how long you have it on

    if you like Here Maps

    Check out MapBrowser it`s free
    MapBrowser - BlackBerry World

It also has Google Maps (not offline) features that the native browser is lacking with sign in and etc.

    Openstreet maps
It has multiple layers like transport, cycle , walking and mapquest

Very native feel to the app
