On x.242 as well. Same behavior.
I'm checking periodically throughout the day w/ test emails to various accounts. Device manager shows CPU use "idle", but alerts aren't triggered. Opening the app then closing the active window seems to "refresh" and the notifications work again.

I noticed it this occurs after having placed an outbound phone call. Here's what I tested:
    - Open/close BeBuzz app. Device mgr shows idle CPU
    - Place phone call
    - Send test email (from desktop, not handset)
    - Email arrives, but no alert triggered
    - BeBuzz no longer in device mgr list
Which device and os version do you have?
I've been thinking about bumping up to .1925 to see if that helps.

So in the afternoon I noticed that it stopped working altogether except for incoming calls, no matter if the frame was.open or not. I rebooted and now it seems fine, but its behavior seems odd to me

Thanks! So I'm guessing that updating won't help then.

Considering your supposed to be testing the app, and the developer updates the app with more features for the testers to test, that's kinda why you are in the beta test, to TEST the app so it isn't "broke" for other users when he releases it

Hopefully the dev pulls your email out of the sandbox and puts someone useful in

There seems to be some type of issue w/ the latest beta and phone calls.
I'm losing the BeBuzz app in the CPU monitor whenever I place/receive calls.
    Example:
Just finished a call (inbound) and email was received (non-BES account). It hit the iPhone and Q10 simultaneously, but the Q10 remained dark.
Mail arriving from the BES account appears to be inconsistent regarding its effect on whether the phone drops BeBezz from active memory.
I'll continue to play with it...

I don't know how many people are allowed access but seems not a lot trying to help with the test phase.

I'll be glad to take a spot. Also rfeild would be a great beta tester along with sirjes. These guys are awesome at helping developers find bugs

I have noticed a few things in my time using this beta.

    1) the app works great when it comes to notifying me of bbm and whatsapp. However, there are times when I won't get any led colors showing at all. When I checked the app manager, I realized that the app has disappeared there. So it must have gotten shut down by itself some how. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it's frustrating as I miss a couple of notifications.

    2) changing profiles from normal to vibrate caused the led to not work as it did when I changed the profiles from normal to silent. This was usually remedied with opening the app and closing it. But maybe this is a bug?

I'm in Z10STL100-2/10.2.0.1767 by the way. Good app other than these little kinks.

Another thing I've noticed is that BeBuzz does not recognize whatsapp group notifications (yet?). So no LED comes on for whatsapp group messages. Maybe you can work something out with the whatsapp developer who is also frequenting the forums now. He has his own thread regarding his whatsapp beta. Maybe you can PM him and maybe work something out.

Just got it loaded on your add Pf; everything appears to be working well so far. I threw a bunch of my usual "things that I do" at it and I can't detect a change from how it functions when visible, other than it being headless.

    I'm on 1925 for those that aren't...

Will report back here with further observations once I've had it running for a day or two or if I see it do anything bad. Device monitor says it's consuming 3.6MB when running headless -- virtually nothing.

First impression: Me like a lot.

Hey Henrik, any way to get BBM groups notifications settings, also custom notifications for contacts or email rules aren't working yet they work for a short time after a reboot then stop, sms led still not working, works after a reboot and then stops working too, other than that no issues.

On a cold start you have to be a bit careful not to launch BeBuzz before the PIM Services settles down as reported in the Device Monitor (a few minutes after boot) or it may close out of the background without notification unexpectedly.

I can reproduce this pretty reliably on a cold start, and you might want to look into what's crashing it under those circumstances to see if whatever makes it unhappy can be forced to wait until the PIM state is consistent first.
