Ever since the latest update, my BeBuzz has been working great. Sorry to hear about others who have random shutdowns. I used to have that with some of the older beta versions, but this one is working as it should. Even when I reboot my phone etc, everything is still good. Memory consumption is also very minimal.

However, I wanted to highlight the lack of communication from the dev. I think, I am not alone, probably hundreds of customers are waiting for the headless one, and we do know, that the beta testing has already started, but while all the other Led apps already went headless, we haven't got any piece of information about our app.
I think it is not a shame, to write on twitter, or just here, that "sry guys, we need one more week" or "We are planning to launch version 2.0 at the end of March (or April, whenever)" ect. If the developer would give a kind of information like this, probably nobody would asking "When 2.0 is coming"...

It is true that the weak point for Bellshare is customer support/communication. I have pointed this out numerous times.

However to be fair to Bellshare, in terms of the notification apps, most developers have had a lot of trouble with this on BB10, I think there are some really aggravating aspects (and OS bugs) about how the BB10 OS works with notifications and headless mode that are very difficult to surmount. Remember BerryBuzz/BeBuzz was the most well-known app for this on legacy BBOS, and BBOS actually had much more sophisticated capabilities for this than BB10 does.

I literally go to BlackBerry World 5 times a day and force an update check.

Interestingly when I checked for updates today, I found the same as an other forum member: It sais the app is running in the background.

Interesting problem...bebuzz is running but I have no led's. it is still showing in my device monitor/ memory but no led's at all. I have opened the UI and still nothing.

Very bad news. It looks like BlackBerry is holding approvals of headless apps for some undisclosed reason. I was not told how long that delay would exactly be, but apparently worst case it might take until end of the month.

This is obviously a major bummer and I understand your frustration.

EDIT: BeBuzz Pro 2.0.71 has been approved and is available for download. If the update doesn't appear for you right away make sure you check back in a few hours.

The only thing we can offer is to add more people to our BlackBerry World sandbox so you can download BeBuzz 2.0 now. Just send me your BlackBerry ID via PM. You will be able to update to BeBuzz 2.0 via the instructions in the original post of this thread. I will not reply to your PM! It might take up to 24 hours before the update appears for you. This is a manual process, so we might not be able to accommodate everyone.

In the meantime I will keep hammering BlackBerry to finally approve BeBuzz 2.0
