Hub++ has no issues at all. It works perfectly. Dunno why it's taking bebuzz so long.

Good that it's working for you - the official thread still mentions a lot of issues (reboots). Anyway I keep waiting for Bebuzz headless which also might resolve the issue that some of my configured phone contacts do not have the configured LED colour

lol by the time this gets released perhaps BlackBerry will drop 10.2.2 with this type of LED control baked into the OS

More than 40 days into beta and we still don't see light at the end of the tunnel.

In the other threads, developers are busy dealing with issues of headless apps they already released. Here you can hear the pin dropping.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to REMOVE myself from the Beta list? I need to go back to the release version so it stays running for me, and Pfluger hasn't responded to my PM.

Just uninstall BeBuzz and install it via BlackBerry World without activating developer mode. And just use the search and not the number provided by Pfluger

What's really happening - or not happening - behind the scene is anybody's guess, but as the days drag on without news of any development, more beta testers will feel that they've been suckered into riding the carousel. And for the rest? It's FU BeBuzz.

If only it were that easy. I've uninstalled the beta, rebooted the phone, made sure I'm not in Dev mode, and searched. I find both BeBuzz 10 and BeBuzz 10 Pro (which I had already purchased). If I d/l the free (non-pro) version, I get V 1.5.xxx, but without functionality for BBM and no granular settings for individual sound profiles, etc. If I d/l Pro, I get the beta.

Looks like you're stuck on the carousel. At least, for now. People who weren't able to get on it last time may be glad they haven't or couldn't.

I like the be buzz active frame. The notifications have been more consistent for me than hub ++. But I'm not slamming hub++. It's a good app.

Yeah - Hub++ is good and I'm happy that it's out there - competition increases the quality

Update: Pfluger responded and removed me from the sandox, I've succesfully d/l'd the release version, and everything is great again.

PFLUGER: I'm sure you're busy, but PLEASE consider incorporating into the current release version the Profiles setting where you can choose what options are enabled (vibrate, LED, sound), based on the notifications profile of the phone (Normal, Vibrate Only, etc) - that was FANTASTIC to use! LED only when in normal, then automatically enabled vibrate & sound (for single alert) when in Vibe Only - I loved it!

From what I understand from programmer friends, going from making a successful app to making that app headless is not as simple as one might think. Pfluger may well not have the experience in programming, so it's possible he's learning how to do it. He was never good at communicating with everyone, so nothing new there, but my guess is that when he has a solid product he'll announce it. My two cents, anyway.

Well, I finally upgraded to the leaked Q10SQN100-1/10.2.1.2141 and I believe BeBuzz is starting automatically on reboot now.
    Yay!

I'm on .2141 and have to say it's a mixed bag.

Reboot will load the program, but consistency of triggers is hit or miss. Using activity monitor to keep watch on the program, but drop outs do occur. Haven't been able to replicate an event that closes the app.

All I know is that it's still closing on its own. Seemingly at random, but regarding programming an app, I don't hold much faith in "random".

Still starting up reliably after reboot. I have not noticed it shutting down on its own. Having such a dramatic difference in behavior with just an OS upgrade leads me to believe that BlackBerry was/is still straightening out headless in the OS.

After some long wait finally a new version is online

You should be able to download 2.0.67 within a couple of hours. See first post for instructions.

Please make sure to post feedback about reliability with this version.
