I have the same problem as you. It's annoying to redo all the contacts every time I update. And I can't even restore from the back up because it tells me it can't find the back up file.

I have been unable to do a restore also, same error saying that the backup file could not be found. However. When I so a backup, it says it was successful.
Arrgh.

Same for me too!

We haven't been able to replicate this. Can you try to close BeBuzz before rebooting?
BeBuzz doesn't observe the currently selected system sound profile. This is a current limitation of BB10.
I can confirm this is a bug. BeBuzz stores references to the contacts, unfortunately the reference ids seem to be reset once an account is reconfigured. We are looking for a fix.
Did you load a firmware or do a factory wipe before trying to restore? The backup is currently stored on device and will be deleted by these actions.
In future versions we will change backup to an SD card so the backup doesn't get deleted.
Until this is changed you can copy the file manually to some safe location. Copy it back to the /misc folder before restore.
It’s happening when the shutdown is because battery is empty. When I power my Q10 down by pressing the middle button, everything is fine.
Surely what Be-Buzz needs to do is create it's own contacts list, picking up the info from contacts but storing it as an independent list rather than a link... as it stands, if the link changes the contact is lost
That would be an option, but this way if you make changes to your contacts (like changing an e-mail address) the changes wouldn't be reflected in BeBuzz.
Thanks, that makes perfectly sense then. BeBuzz is currently storing settings when it is closed. We will have to save more often.
No update or reset to the phone. Running original release from carrier (Att). The backup file is stored in device memory/ misc file, just as it states. So it has not been deleted or moved. One thing I do notice though is that the date of the file does not change, meaning as I make changes to my settings and then try to do a 'new' backup, the date stays the same. Does this mean the new backup does not overwrite the old?

How about an indication when the link is broken and an option to relink it to a contact. At the very least it would mean you don't have to set the customisation back up.

My facebook notifications don't show on my led even with the led settings off. Is there a fix coming soon for that?

Facebook notifications do not work on my devices, too.
Surely having to update one contact because you've added an email is better than complertely deleting and restarting twenty or thirty contacts? If Be-buzz had the option to update a contact as well as add, this would sort the problem.
I'd really like to see facebook led indicator working.

Two things I don't like about BeBuzz - one can't be fixed by them and that's the headless bit but the other is driving me crazy.... the LED doesn't stop blinking once you've read the message etc. Takes forever to stop, and sometimes doesn't.
We will release an update soon that should improve reliability of facebook notifications, especially on OS 10.1.
hopefully ...
:sarcastic:
Is there a fix for custom ringtones in the plans?

Regarding the backup issue, be buzz shut itself down and all settings were lost. Tried again to access the backup file, only this time it is gone too.
So, I redid everything from scratch. Did the backup, still in same place. Clicked on restore, and the error has returned. Says it cannot find backup file.
Arrgh.
And, I would really like to know about the custom ringtones. Is a fix for this being worked on?

Can anyone help me set up the bebuzz app for z10, please? I upgraded from 9900 to z10. On 9900 i had bebuzz and it works amazing but on z10 i can not figure it out how to set it up. i want to assign a custom color to a contact, how can i do it. (i already set up colors for default contact) Tanks!
Hit the contacts tab hit the bottom right 3 dots and click add contact, then click on the contact and adjust the colours depending on the notification.
