It would be nice if developers who abandon bb10 give their sources to another developer who maintains bb10. Or to open source apps.

If the app is still functional then they would be losing out on earned pay, from the community perspective yeah it would be great to be able to build on the work already carried out, add features and fix bugs.

Does anyone know if All Star Software is still around? I love Star Player, it's amazing (especially auto lyrics finder) and better then any Droid app but could use just a few more features to be Perfection! Be a shame if he abandoned it but not sure however it's fully functioning just so everyone knows and still worth the cost hands down one of the best! Love to have a seach button in the music player part (rather then just edit) as well as a visualization themes and that's about all its missing, the thing has everything and I remember a time not so long ago he was very serious about Star player, hopefully he still is. It's ashame blackberry doesn't allow you to see the last update when app is installed.

Hubby by cellninja just update 14 augsut and Neutron music player by neutron code Limited. Thanks to développer to still support wonderfull os.

Never heard of it, the BlackBerry World description has an email where one can send feedbacks, maybe you can try to reach out to them. The app was last updated in 2015, so they probably don't support it anymore.

Sven recently posted on CrackBerry confirming he will still fix bugs if anybody has an issue but do not expect any new features because he's moved to Android.

Why, it works great and he always is pushing Updates on Neutron. It's the Go-To.. gold standard for BlackBerry music players. I like Star also though.

I wish I could remember why I bought it...the default music app on bb10 plays pretty much everything out there. I think I needed to play some kind of. Webm file and the only app that plays it is avplayer pro, which is even worse than neutron but it at least worked for that purpose

If all developper like you may their apps open source it's will be fine. And Blackberry 10 can stay alive with more developper.

It has been a week since I can not contact the server for Navfree. Every time I try to check for updates or try to download maps I get an error that the server could not be contacted. I have tried using mobile data and different wireless networks but it does not work. Anybody else having this problem?

Yeah, awesome DEV to do this, especially when apps are still functional as they have money to lose that way, very noble to open source it, let your creation be possibly kept alive by other BB10 folks if you have moved on.
That would be more rewarding to me (if I was a dev) then money, that's just me though.

You can try to fill this form, I don't know what is the time frame to ask for a refund, but my guess is that they don't even bother to check when you bought it.
