No it is wrapping web mobile site apps for bb10 if you prefer to have an app instead to use an url shortcut to touch.facebook.com or using facebook lite apk android app

Navfree last update in 2014 but offline maps have been update recently

That's a tall order. I think the only one is Genius Maps but you have to pay for the turn-by-turn feature (it's in the app, dunno if it still works).
Navfree, Maps.Me and OsmAnd are all Android. I use OsmAnd because it has the latest maps.

That's a question I always asked myself, how to get a map update. I'm using Maps.me at the moment.

You can get turn by turn with the stock maps if you set the route while in connected to wifi. Try the assistant, set the route you need and leave it.

I think it might only appear to those who have already purchased it. I can't find it when I search the store, only when I go to 'Available' apps tab in BBW

If you use the share option it should let you share it to other apps, I usually just share to remember, copy the hyperlink then discard the note and paste the link wherever. Like this one which is not on the storefront but still there.
