Nice concept, looks good. Will that directly install the bar file onto your device?

Wonderful, a one stop shop. Directly installing bars will be nice but I don't think BB will ever permit that route. I may be wrong.

Well technically this ISN'T Blackberry's app store. But it could be used to load community-based projects. I wish they allow BAR installation on this app.

Does the existing API allows this at all? Otherwise I think there's no chance.

There are no APIs for that and I don't think there will ever be...

Great! Just what is needed! I can see a great potential here, quality third party apps hugely better than crappy junk apps flooding BBWorld. Good job!

Now all we need is to push BB to listen to us by allowing direct installation of bar files on the device!

This is a great idea, OP - looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

And while it's not perfect, SideSwype lets you install BAR files on the device... perhaps investigate a similar concept here, OP - or even a partnership? I haven't a clue how easy/difficult that would be; I'm just a gleefully simple user who wants his apps in an easy-to-install fashion. I'll leave it to those smarter than I to make that happen.
