Has anyone tried this app, its quite good. After a syncing process the app is pretty excellent.

What does everyone do to get it sync'd I mean the app browses my phone and SD card for what appears to be forever. I end up giving up on it everytime.

Yeah, I love this app, also enjoy converting my vintage comics to Cbr files (not difficult) hooking the phone to a large screen (hdmi) brilliant.

The initial scan can take some time. But then you're good to go.

Ummm, at first for me the scan took ages and still wouldn't find the comics, I had to move the comics, I put them in a folder on the sd card, and it found them.
An hour is too long, mine takes about 10 minutes max to scan.

Thanks for the info. I just stopped it as it was still searching. Mine are on my SD card. Just tried switching the files into a different folder.

I've tried five different folders between the device and the SD card, along with re-installs and reboots.

I only have three files saved on my phone and i'm about to give up on this app before I can even get it off the ground.

Could anyone tell me which folder they have their files saved in? Maybe I can recreate that 'setting' on my device

I just put them to SDcard/books.
Which file format do you use?

Maybe the problem is caused by the file sizes, like with Comics (Endare) on PlayBook: It fails to scan too big files and small files with too high resolutions. You could try resizing your comics for testing this with programs like this: http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm

    Thanks for the tip.

SD Card/books has been my default folder since well the playbook (obviously no SD card).

I've actually switch to just one file. 22MB and it's a CBR.
This new file has never been on my passport, figured the others weren't get picked up so why not try a new one.

Today's Top Tip: Disable BBLink connection (Settings → BlackBerry Link/Device Connections) before scanning (or just Airplane mode for a bit). When the app says it will scan any device storage it includes trying to scan BBLink connected PCs.

This is also my favourite app on BlackBerry to read my comics, although I don't have so many of them anymore.

MrGlenn you are absolutely amazing lol.

I was really getting annoyed with this app.

A quick switch into Airplane mode and boom done and done!

    So happy
