BlackBerry hasn't approved the request.

I have heard rumours that in OS 10.3.1 we won't need approval from BlackBerry for the headless function. So it's only a matter of time.

Normally what should be the size of the backup for messages? I can only see 1kb, so it didn't store it? I have a lot of SMS.

Can you open the file and look inside and see what's stored in it? If encrypted forget about looking.

Size is normal. It json format then ok

1kb is not right!

In several days I am releasing an update in for 10.3+ that fixes a notes restore problem. Also fixing an SMS backup and restore problem on 10.3.1 (thanks to the 2 users that emailed in detailed screenshots and explanations). It appears BlackBerry changed their SMS database structure (again) with 10.3.1.

Yup. 1kb is basically nothing. Tried another s/w backup and I got 1Mb of Sms, but had the contacts screwed up (not linking to the phone numbers in Sms). Waiting for the messages backup fix in 10.3.1.

I have the same problem. Extracting has been stuck at 22/109. When I open Contacts there are 31 records.

Nah. It doesn't have access to it. I'm assuming this because his other app BookMark Pro emphatically states so. Also, I'm sure if the API becomes available, he would most likely add that feature to that app first, then this one afterwards just due to the name & utility.

Get "Bookmark Pro" to backup your bookmarks. It uses a lateral approach to solve the bookmark access problem. Plus it does a whole lot more to make life so easy.

Bookmark Pro is always open and in the first spot in the home screen of my Passport. Makes accessing frequent websites an absolute breeze.

At least you can sync the contacts from your email account, so no loss there.

I am also having trouble RESTORING. I've tried a few different backup setups and they are all stalling at some point.

The most recent stalls at restoring number 11.

Another stalled at about 90 or so.

Me too, tried through mega and SD card, both encrypthed and not. Always stalling. I'm on PP 10.3.1.747

It's working for me. But now 4 people have reported this problem. I need to get my hands on one of these contact backup files to reproduce and study the problem. Is there anyone that doesn't mind sending me their problematic contact backup file? (I can offer them a free copy of Health Pro when it releases).

If you try restoring with the original Fire Chest Backup what happens?

Currently doing major work on Backup Pro. Box made some changes behind the scenes and a fix for that is coming too.
