    Do you guys know of any Android APKs or Native BAR files I can install to transfer my texts from my Classic to my KEY2?

    I tried using one Android app but I don't think it accessed my Classic's messages properly.

    I haven't had my BBID on my Classic since January.

    Did you try Content Transfer?

    It's already installed on all BlackBerry Android devices.

    Yes, but in order to get the native content transfer app on the Classic I'd have to add a BBID. The android version of BB Content Transfer doesn't get past a screen saying to accept the permissions.

    I could add my BB ID back on the phone but I'd prefer not to - I could never get BB Protect disabled properly.

    When I tried to use it a few weeks ago it wanted the version the OS 10 phone to be updated, but it has no update.

    SMS backup will do that for you. There’s a native BB10 version and one in the play store you can use to restore them onto Android.
