This music player has more features over the stock music player like: browse and play songs in folders, edit song tags, sort song list, fetch synchronized lyrics and artwork image while playing song.
I have been adding more features to it to become a fully-featured music player, so I would really appreciate any of your feedbacks or suggestions.

Very nice app. I have it installed on my Q10 running OS 10.3.1.1016 and everything is running smoothly. I would like to see the ability to add more playlists within the app though. Keep up the great development of it. Thanks for sharing.

I have figured out how to create a playlist. Couple other issues with the app though.

Whenever I close the app and then open it back up it has to go through the "library loading" stage each time. For those of us with a lot of songs on our device that loading time is long. Anyway for the app to remember what has already been loaded?

The other issue is now that I know how to create the playlist as I go through the songs to add some to that list the app will force close. I then have to reopen the app (and wait for it to load all of the library) and continue working on the list.

To echo what jordan559 mentioned, it looks like the app reads the music folder each time it's launched.

Also, I have a few suggestions for the UI. Mainly, the bottom is too cluttered. I would move the shuffle and repeat buttons to the top. Incidentally, the text on the top should moved as there really shouldn't be text on the very edge of the screen. The same goes for the lyric text; I would size it down a bit. I made a mockup of what I described:





Any way, congrats on the app! I'll be following its development. The lyric function is something I've missed from when I had an Android phone.

I have downloaded it but how do I get the lyrics to show or to get missing artwork as these were the reasons I downloaded it?

In order to get lyrics and artwork, your tag information (title, artist, album) have to be correct. Tag editing function will be added in next releases.

But how do we know if tags are correct as I think my tags are correct anyway? It also takes a long time to load my library each time, hoped this would just be the first time.

Not all song have lyrics, i'll try to fetch more lyrics next version.

I use default BB10 api, so it can play extentions that default player supports. I can play FLAC files on my Z10.
