I have been trying to purchase an app from desktop and I can't seem to get pass login screen.
I keep getting
" An error has occurred and your request cannot be processed."

I also got a database error once or twice.
Is there a problem with app world? I just wanted to buy Wallpaper Changer HD.

I just tried on PB, it gets stuck at loading screen with "Authenticating..." won't go past that, it just hangs. I wonder if another update is on the way or just plain fluke?

Whole weekend, app world has been misbehaving, and now it is not taking payments.

The last purchase of mine was UnSend Email dated 29 May 2014 and I did not buy any app in June.

Then, this morning I encountered the AW30972vq error (which I have managed to correct by updating payment option) followed by the AW589009c error (which is persistent).

A friend of mine says that the error may have been caused by the fact that my BlackBerry ID is NOT linked to any credit card in terms of payment options. (PayPal has been selected as sole payment option.) I wonder if somebody has any clue . . .

I just looked for that error in google and did not see any complete solution on the sites mentioned. One suggested "detaching" paypal and then reinstating it.

Sincere apologies . . . I am solely to blame for the aforementioned problem with my BlackBerry ID.

After my last PayPal payment was made towards the end of June, the credit card linked to my PayPal account expired on June 30, which I did not notice. Having updated my PayPal account with the new expiry date of the renewed credit card, I can now purchase apps in BlackBerry World with my BlackBerry ID.
