    A lot of times I need to shut my phone down like before going into a court room when I leave I forget that I shut it later when I need to make a phone call I realize the phone is off and I missed important phone calls

    He means like the old legacy feature where it would shutdown and restart your phone at specified times. I'm not even sure if that's possible on any of the new OSes, Android/QNX. For now does silent work?

    There are apps for other os's that will even choose various profiles based on either time or your location. Modern, huh?
