I grabbed the APK, the requirements seem to work for BB10.
Installs fine, it loads up, I can search for stuff, it sees my playlists, everything seems to be ok until I go to actually play a song, then just spins forever waiting.

It’s AI before it’s time. Obviously, it doesn’t approve of the song you’ve chosen..

Not my preferred source of APK's but couldn't find old enough versions on Apkpure.

What is surprising is how many 'lite' versions of popular apps are offered. It's like there are a ton of users around the world that are stuck on old versions of Android? :-)

Actually from the same site, the full Spotify app seems to work.
Versions 8.5.80.1037 and 8.577.1043
It is very slow compared to the lite version and I don't really see any advantage so I would not recommend it.

Seems like @XcrazyS has made an adapted version of the full Spotify, that works smooth. Haven't tried though. http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=1173929
