Any.do task app

using the new porting method last nite, i was able to get the latest version on my phone. must say its a GORGEOUSLY done app, and runs so smoothly--even ported! definitely a must have. i know koz' site has the previous version, so its available using the regular sideloading method. used to use Astrid (RIP) until yahoo bought them out.

but as they say, one door closes and another opens. thank god for that closed door, cause this task app is a dream.

if you guys love it as much as i do, pls facebook/tweet/email them expressing your interest for a bb10 app.

This is one of the apps I really miss from IOS. Could you elaborate how you ported it over? Or post the bar file?

i cant post the bar file since its only associated to my PIN and would be useless to you, but i used the new sideloading method for my MAC (here with PC), with my debug tokens, and converted the apk to bar using, then sideloaded it using the chrome extension method.

here is the link to Koz' bar file for v2.19.

the current v is 2.30 in the googleplay store.

I do have a version of AnyDo side loaded but it's laggy as heck. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to check which version it is. Would you be able to tell me how I could find that info?

if you plug in your phone to link, turn the dev option to ON in security settings, open the chrome extension, it should tell you what version app you have installed/sideloaded.

i can tell you the apk i downloaded from the google play store, with my debug token, does not lag at all. its so smooth.

Thanks!! I used the above posted bar and it does definitely work a lot better. Wish they would get a native app - tweeted them as well.

Thanks again for your help. Interestingly, the side loaded apps show a different version numbers when I checked through the method you mentioned.

anyone that uses this beautiful app, have you figured out how to add your google tasks to it? any.do says this, but i cant figure it out. can someone help?


How do I sync Any.DO with my Google Tasks account?
On your phone's home screen simply press the 'Menu' button select 'Settings', 'Accounts & sync' then 'Add account'. Once you have set up a Google account with their Open Authentication (OAUTH) protocol you are able to select your account by opening Any.DO Press 'Menu' > 'More' > 'Accounts' and choose the account you wish to sync with.

I side loaded v30 of any.do on my z10. It doesn't recognize missed calls. I don't know if reminders are working either.

reminders work for me on both the Z and Q, even when the app is closed. i just need to figure out how to add google tasks then ill be golden.

I tried to follow those instructions but I don't see that option under Settings on the Z10. I checked on my IPhone 4S and that too doesn't have that option listed. I'm thinking it might only be in the most current android app. Agreed that that feature would make this truly complete. For now, I have the chrome extension as well as it integrated with my gmail, so I can easily add tasks right from my inbox and it syncs to the Z10. Works pretty darn good and the notifications are working well.

I'm on Z10STL100-2/10.2.0.1443 and unlocked android, notifications from any.do are showing in the notifications in hub. I'm hoping missed call alerts will also work... anyone confirm?

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has a more up to date version of this app working. The one from snap doesn't load of my phone and the one from amazon appears it be ancient.
I'm still searching the forums for more info but thought I'd try and reach out for help. Any one know if it works on 10.3?
