I have the play store (cobalt) running on my Passport and have installed quite a few Android apps, most of them run smoothly.

Have BlackBerry 10 whatsapp installed and just installed Android Whatsapp and registered it using another sim card, which is working on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 tablet (whatsapp doesn't work on the tablet, Android 4.4.2) .

Android Whatsapp started working but with a few hiccups, is that normal? I restarted my phone a couple of times. Will it be buggy? Or will it smoothen out with time?

Help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

whatsapp on a blackberry is never going to run smoothly. And then by dec 31, it will stop working altogether.

Unless the runtime is updated or an app is optimized by the developer, issues will likely persist. You can try uninstalling other Android apps and see if that helps with performance but at the end of the day you're still dealing with a runtime and not full Android.
