So I have just noticed that this app, which I never use, Amazon Store in particular is using a lot of data and draining battery more than normal. Can not stop it no matter what, any one with ideas? anyone else having this issue? Have you checked, if not you should.

I used to have this problem.
One question first: how often do you use it?

I never use it, ever, don't even open it, it is in a hidden folder. Just started happening or at least just noticed it in the last week.

Lucky for you, there is a fix. Go to device monitor (settings->app manager) and find amazon. Press "clear data". If there is none then there is a different problem.

so it clears the data, but it doesn't stop the fact that it has used that data in the first place, correct?

Download Ghost Commander file manager in BBW, and you can stop it from running.
